Product Review: Natural Saturdays " Body Butter" (Mango Scent)

Hey Guys,

I walked casually down lane 'This summer heat will not kill me' and street 'what I would do for a Klondike Bar"  to Natural Saturdays to make my first ever purchase!!!! YES I was super excited and I got the 'Body Butter' (Mango and Freesia Scent), Oatmeal and Honey Soap and Bentonite Clay.

Product Description:
"A rich blend of creamy all natural butters infused with essential oils. Good for all skin types but especially good for dry skin, locks in moisture, improves skin elasticity and contains natural sun block."
Review:
One thing that is a must have for all the products I like is the scent and this body butter smells delicious. The mango scent is sweet but not overpowering and just leaves me sniffing my skin, and wanting to lick my skin ( I know this stuff is amazing). The body butter is light, airy and smooth to touch. It melts very easily and you are not left feeling chunks of unwhipped shea butter. I especially love using this body butter right after my night shower, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and silky. I try not to use it during the day because it is really hot outside and the thought of the sun already  melts the butter even before it ever touches my skin...lol. I cannot wait till winter when I can use this product day and night.
I had a bit of it when I was away on vacation and guess what, it doubles up as a good moisturizer. I am yet to use the product in my pedicure regimen but that's because I don't really have a pedicure regimen.

Overall this product is lovely, and I am looking forward to many more nights with my body butter.

You can buy your Body Butter at Natural Saturday.

Product Review: Safi Natural "Hair Hairsicle Cream"

Hey Guys,

A few months ago, I made my first purchase from Safi Natural which is a natural hair product line owned by one of my favorite bloggers Alexandra of The Good Hair Blog. I had been following her for a while and was very excited to try out her product. I purchased the "Hairsicle Cream".

Ingredients:
Water, BTMS, Tangerine Butter, Lemon Butter, Tucuma Butter, Lime Butter, Shea Butter,Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Fragrance
**All products are preserved with Sodium Lactate** "
Review:
  • First of all this product smells amazing... I find myself randomly opening it not for any other reason besides smelling it.
  • The product is smooth, airy and provides adequate moisture
  • It is amazing for twist-out and braid-outs
  • A little goes a long way
  • The product provides just enough shine without leaving your hair greasy
  • The product is a little pricey (I got the 8oz for 13.50)
  • Did I mention the smell is fantastically yummy !!!!! ( it has a refreshing citrus scent)
Overall I absolutely love this product and after using it for about 2 months  it is officially part of my product staples. I can't wait to try out more products from the Safi Natural product line.

Length Check (14 months natural)

Hey Guys,

A quick length check and general hair update.
My hair has been doing good these past few weeks. I wore it mostly in a braid-out or a high puff, and I put in a protective style for about 13 days. I just took my hair down, and decided to do a quick length check before my next style

My hair has grown and I seem to be retaining length. I am eager to see what my hair looks like when it is fully stretched, but I am scared to straighten it myself. I want to wait till I'm 2 years natural before I straighten my hair but we will see how that goes ( I am not a very patient person)
Anyway just thought to update you all. Please leave any questions you may have on what I have been doing or any other thing you may have questions on. And leave your lovely comments because I love hearing from you guys.

Hairstyle: High Cinnabun Puff

Hey Guys,

This is the hairstyle I am wearing today.
It is simply a high puff with the puff part put in medium sized two-strand twists, and then tucked down to give the cinnabun look.
